In a word where the sky was a dark yellow and grey color,
The trees looked as if they were dead as was everything else.
In the middle of this seemingly never ending land there stood a stone arch.
The arch was about ten feet tall and had a locked gate seared into it.
As everything lay motionless, a rustle in the trees begun.
Then a little boy appeared through the trees cut and bruised.
Confused as what had just happened, the little boy got up and brushed all of the thorns, and twigs off of him.
When he noticed the arch he went over to it and examined it.
He looked at it for a while before noticing a carving in it that was shaped like a hand.
He put his hand in it not knowing what would happen next.
After he put his hand in it, the structure started to glow.
He quickly pulled his hand back.
As he was walking back he tripped over a stone.
He fell backwards and lay there stunned at what was happening.
A red glow appeared in front of the stone and started to grow.
Then as the glow was growing what looked like elven markings appeared on the arch.
Then he heard a click of the lock and the chains fell.
The iron doors swung open, and a very strong wind came through.
All of the trees behind him were blown away.
Then finally the red glow had taken up the entire structure.
Then a knight, in black armor that seemed to glow red, stepped through.
He got up and ran into the bushes.
